This strategy can sometimes win without a 3rd dragon at all, but I'm not going to say any dragon works with the script/strat. There's a lot of randomness in how the first enemy chooses to use moves.

There seems to be a bit of RNG involved, because sometimes the attack order does vary.

Closer to the original strat in the notes; adds 1-2 more rounds, a bit more success rate-ish.
Could also be that my luck was off enough that I fiddled with things that work fine for everyone else :)
use(Spiked Skin:315) [self.aura(Spiked Skin:316).duration<=1]
use(Arcane Explosion:299) [self.hpp<25]
use(Howl:362) [self(Chrominius:1152).hp<800]
use(Ravage:802) [enemy.aura(Howl:1725).exists]
use(Rewind Time:1933) [self.hpp<60]
use(#1)

Despite the RNG, the Lifft portion is pretty predictable UP TO the point of the Howl/Ravage sequence. As you say, the timing can then go bad. I won my second test by ignoring the Howl, which would have given him time to refresh his shield and/or Dive, and going straight to Ravage, which killed him and healed me, so I never needed the third pet. Timing that critical sequence is what will determine success or failure.
Thinking about that, I tried another way - I took Ancient Blessing on my Chrominius instead, and used it to keep myself topped up while Arcane Exploding, until I had killed his backline. A Ravage followed up by my third pet then won solidly. I would have preferred another Chrominius with Bite, Howl, Surge of Power for my third, or even a Nexus powerhouse with Arcane Storm/Mana Surge to finish Lifft quickly without having him shield/Dive.
Let me be clear, this is definitely a viable strat for a difficult battle. If you are following it exactly, you will have RNG because of the timing of Lifft's cooldowns when you go into your Ravage sequence. You can improve your chances a lot by timing your Howl for a spot where you will hit Lifft in all three rounds, and ideally while he is unshielded for at least one of the Ravages. (edited)
