This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

I think we've established that "Ca-Caw Ca-Caw" and "Tookie Tookie" don't work.

still works after SL patch

thebl4ckd0g wrote on 2019-04-19 18:48:15

horrible strategy my first go. I even went with 2 Enchanted Brooms (both rare ninjas) in my lineup, and both were destroyed, and Bloodtusk was at full health again by the time my 3rd pet came in. Either you need to specify a breed other than ANY, or this is a bad strategy. :(

Aelfraed wrote on 2019-04-27 00:20:12

I am not sure what you were doing but I just did this in 6 keystrokes, one broom, half health left.

I am also a bit confused as to what issue you're having. This strat has never failed for me in the 8 months I've been utilizing it, even in the event of unlucky crits. Enchanted Broom only comes in ninja breed to my knowledge.

Are you positive you're using Wind-Up and not maybe Clean-Up? That's all I can think of to where any issues would arise..

Kimberleigh wrote on 2019-05-10 21:42:39

First time I tried it, my enchanted broom died after 5 wind ups. Forfeited, and tried again and was able to get the 6th wind up to kill Bloodtusk. RNG I guess.

I just used Iron Starlet and it was a clean sweep. Wind up, supercharge, wind up, done.

mhspear wrote on 2019-08-04 12:19:28

broom only comes in s/s therefore breed na

Araeya wrote on 2019-11-20 21:05:45

I just had this same issue. Not sure why in the heck he healed to full after my broom dies, then he one shotted my lil bling...second time it worked like normal.

Remte

wrote on 2019-11-21 16:45:22

This creature has a buff which specifically heals it to full and buffs it when it kills the target.

Ophyllia wrote on 2019-10-01 00:42:52

This worked beautifully.

Worked great and he is weak against the magic pet. Since I don't care about leveling anymore with the nerf this is the way to go.

warmtobe wrote on 2018-11-09 20:06:41

Easy to level with .. leveler first .. can be low level. Then sunreaver microsentry's "call lightning" Switch to Lil Bling and Make it Rain followed by inflation. Not much experience from it tho.

Tarc wrote on 2018-09-24 18:14:25

Why not an Iron Starlette, 3 rounds?
1. Wind-Up
2. Supercharge.
3. Wind-Up

P/P if it matters.

Wind-Up x3

Nice this worked perfect for me, thx :D

Morrogoth wrote on 2018-09-08 23:35:58

That worked well. My Iron Starlette killed it on turn 3 with Wind-Up-Supercharge-Wind-Up.

Lankey wrote on 2018-09-01 02:54:51

It is probably just as fast if not a little bit faster if you just use Batter as you can kill it in 5 turns instead of 6 if the RNG is right.

cidrei

wrote on 2018-09-06 19:27:58

Even quicker if you happen to get a couple lucky crits.

Askania

Easiest way to beat is to use Zandalari Kneebiter and Darkmoon Tonk. Start with Kneebiter and do Black Fang, Blood Claw and one turn of Hunting Party, switch to tonk and then do either Shock and Awe or Ion Canon depending on how much damage you need to do kill crawg. I used Shock and Awe once to kill him.

Elsa wrote on 2018-08-27 14:18:51

This worked great for me. Brought in a 23 level pet and did 1 spell, then brought in the ZK and black claw/hunting party and he was dead. Thanks!

Kimberleigh wrote on 2018-09-06 16:18:41

My Zandalari Kneebiter actually soloed it with black claw, hunting party and then a leap. Didn't get to use my Darkmoon Tonk. Thank you!

Your guides have been so helpful for so long...it's very impressive and appreciated the amount of time and effort you put into your long-standing pet battle guide. Thanks for being such a rock star!!! This specific battle was no exception, I only used the broom during fight.

wrote on 2018-08-16 19:33:58

I did this with G0-R41-0N Ultratonk and finished him off without haveing to switch pets but I had Son of Sethe and Nerubian Swarmer as backup

DragonsAfterDark

wrote on 2018-08-16 16:12:31

Also works well with a Mechanical Scorpid (2,2,1)
Wind-Up
Black Claw
Wind-Up x 3
Pet dies, Rezzes
Finish with Puncture Wound

When you tag strategies as level-up ones (on wowhead or here by choosing level pets for your teams) just make sure they will join the battle (being active at the end of 1 turn at least).

For this specific strategy we'll see if Blizzard changes the evolving part of Evolving Bite... Right now on Beta the damage increase is calculated with racial bonuses/weaknesses so very slowly vs. your magic Broom and much faster vs. Beasts and this is weird and hopefully not intended. Thanks anyways for your strat!
